Coronavirus Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted my life in many ways. I lost my grandfather due to this virus. After the death of my grandfather I started being extra cautious.
At first, I was upset about the state-wide shutdown but eventually I realized it was what was best for everyone. I encourage everyone to wear their masks, wash their hands frequently, and keep their distance from others for the health and safety of themselves as well as others.
I had to make sacrifices because no one could visit their loved ones in the nursing home, as much as it hurt, I knew it was for safety precautions. Also, I had to change my learning environment for safety precautions. Virtual learning is the safest way for all schools right now because the cases are continuously rising.
COVID-19 has shown me no matter how young and healthy you are you can still catch a bad case of the virus. For example, not only have adults died from COVID but children have too. This virus has forced me to stay in the house more because of my health conditions. I hope everyone is staying safe and protecting themselves during this pandemic.
